【デンマーク】世界初、農業へのCO2税を課すと政府発表

（2024/6/25）

• デンマークは2030年から農業部門に対するCO2税を導入。世界初の試みとなる。デンマークの農業における温室効果ガス排出量を削減することを目的としており、2030年までに1990年比で排出量を70％削減するというデンマークの気候変動目標に貢献する。
• 2030年にCO2排出1トンあたり300デンマーククローネ（約43ドル）の税を導入し、2035年までに750クローネに引き上げる計画。農家は所得税控除の適用を受け、実際の負担額は軽減されるとのこと。
• 政府は、この税が農家に財政的な影響を与える一方で、より持続可能な農法や農業部門の革新的技術の導入のインセンティブになると期待している。

【ネクシーズ】地銀の省エネ設備導入支援でCO2削減3万5000tを達成

• 株式会社NEXYZ.は2018年9月に北陸銀行と2022年10月に北海道銀行と業務提携し、地域の中小企業や自治体向けに省エネ設備・農業設備の導入を行い、脱炭素およびSDGsの達成に向けた取組みを支援してきた。
• 両行の設備導入支援件数が2,000件、CO2排出削減量が3万5千tを超え、これは、NEXYZ.が提携している金融機関75社のうち、第1位である。
• 両行は、かねてより具体的な取組みに注力しており、サステナビリティ分野におけるファイナンスやコンサルティングの商品・メニューが150件を超えている。

【三井住友海上火災保険株式会社、あいおいニッセイ同和損害保険株式会社】人的資本経営に取り組む企業向けに保険料割引制度を導入

• MS&ADインシュアランス グループの三井住友海上火災保険とあいおいニッセイ同和損害保険は、人的資本経営に取り組む企業を対象に、業務災害補償保険の保険料割引制度を開始。中堅・中小企業に対し、リスクに応じた保険料での補償と、MS&ADインターリスク総研のコンサルティングサービスを提供し、人的資本経営の実践と健全な経営環境の構築を支援。
• 保険契約締結時点でＩＳＯ３０４１４認証を取得していることが条件。保険料の割引という動機をつくり、生産性向上や従業員が働きやすい環境整備を促す狙いがある。

【Denmark Government】Imposes CO2 Tax on Farms.

（25th June, 2024）

• Denmark has introduced a CO2 tax on the agricultural sector starting in 2030. This is the first attempt of its kind in the world. It aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Danish agriculture and will contribute to Denmark’s climate change goal of reducing emissions by 70% from 1990 levels by 2030.
•  A tax of 300 Danish kroner (about $43) per ton of CO2 emissions will be introduced in 2030, rising to 750 kroner by 2035. Farmers will receive an income tax credit, which will reduce the actual tax burden.
• The government hopes that while the tax will have a financial impact on farmers, it will also provide an incentive to introduce more sustainable farming methods and innovative technologies in the agricultural sector.

【NEXYZ】Achieves 35,000 tons of CO2 Reduction by Supporting the Introduction of Energy-Saving Equipment for Local Banks

（25th June, 2024）

• NEXYZ. Corporation has formed business partnerships with Hokuriku Bank in September 2018 and Hokkaido Bank in October 2022 to support efforts to decarbonize and achieve the SDGs by introducing energy-saving and agricultural equipment for local SMEs and municipalities.
• The two banks have supported 2,000 installations and over 35,000 tons of CO2 emission reductions, which ranks first among the 75 financial institutions with which NEXYZ.
• Both banks have been focusing on specific initiatives for some time, and have more than 150 finance and consulting products and menus in the area of sustainability.

【Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance and Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance】 Introduction of Premium Discount System for Companies Engaged in Human Capital Management

• Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company, Limited of the MS&AD Insurance Group and Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Co.,Ltd. have launched a premium discount system for business accident compensation insurance for companies engaged in human capital management. The program provides small and medium-sized enterprises with compensation at premiums that are commensurate with risk and consulting services by MS&AD InterRisk Research Institute & Consulting, Inc. to support the practice of human capital management and the establishment of a sound management environment.
• The company must be ISO 30414 certified at the time the insurance contract is concluded. The company aims to create an incentive in the form of discounted insurance premiums to encourage companies to improve productivity and create an environment in which employees can work comfortably.
